I was really impressed by the capabilities and more importantly the energy and excitement among the students and faculty as well as your amazing leadership of this great institution. I would be delighted to continue to be involved with CIPET/LARPM and greatly look forward to several exciting collaborations. I have talked to both the secretary and joint secretary about several ideas we could partner in and also about how much CIPET can play a central role in solving some of the important challenges for India. There are several avenues including, The US-India Frontiers of Engineering, World Bank, National Science Foundation (NSF), and also possibly via NSF-DST combined funding programmes. We have to plan on how we could move forward with this initial momentum about raising funding to look at these challenges together. I have mentioned about CIPET/LARPM to my dept. Head Prof. Mary Boyce and have got her excited about this. Once again my heart-felt thanks for everything. Please convey my regards to everyone. I greatly look forward to future collaborations.

	Dr. Sri Bandopadhyay Associate Professor School of Material Science & Engineering, University of New South Wales Congratulations on having an outstanding successful first APM conference in February, 2010. The Plenary papers were outstanding in quality and invited presentations covered sophisticated range of new polymer research. The contributed papers and posters covered novel application of polymer usage. The Conference Proceedings was compact, neat and complete with author index. Time maintenance for the single and parallel sessions was outstanding. Hospitality was superb and high quality. The presence of large number of senior Government officials and Industry personnel made APM so effective. The conference has given me a great incentive to have short and long term collaborative research between CIEPT/LARPM and UNSW in Polymer nano composites and other novel polymer research.
